If any more proof was needed that Teresa and Scott Speedman are getting serious, here are the two love birds on set for Teresa’s latest film AWOL in Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA. Dessed in a tight blue top and skirt and a pretty 60′s headscarf, Teresa looked as cute as a button and Scott seemed to be loving being by Teresa’s side and being introduced to her co stars.

AWOL is a film about two Vietnam soldiers (Austin Stowell and Liam Hemsworth) go AWOL and hit the road back in the States in order to track down a high school sweetheart. It’s directed by Danny Mooney and is due out for a 2012 release.

Is Teresa getting ready to walk down the aisle with her boyfriend, Canadian actor Scott Speedman?

The US tabloids claim that the couple are getting super-serious, super-fast.

It’s understood the 25-year-old Aussie actress this week introduced Speedman, 35, to the cast and crew of her new film AWOL, which also stars Aussie hunk Liam Hemsworth.

And sources have told American Star magazine that the couple have already discussed marriage.

“I got a very lovely surprise standing outside my hotel room on fri night!! Best ann arbor weekend ever,” Palmer tweeted of Speedman’s visit.

The I Am Number Four star is due back home later this year to begin shooting Mad Max: Fury Roadwith Brit hunk Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.

Speedman is best known for his roles in the Underworld film series and television drama Felicity.

UPDATE: We know we all thought Teresa’s next film was going to be called Say Nothing, however we can now reveal that the title has been changed to WISH YOU WERE HERE, so don’t be confused, it’s still the same film! Wish you were here is about a group of four friends that take a vacation to Cambodia, but only three of them return home. It’s billed as a mystery drama, where the secrets as to what happened on their vacation start to come out once they return home.

The film is directed by first time director Kieran Darcy-Smith and stars Joel Edgerton, Teresa Palmer, Felicity Price (who also co-wrote the script with Darcy-Smith) and Anthony Starr. No release date is set, but the film’s Facebook page hints that a trailer may drop in August. We can’t wait.

the movie is tentatively set to begin filming from July 11-August 12 in and around Ann Arbor. Much of the shoot will likely take place on the University of Michigan campus since the movie is set on campus during the Vietnam War.

Several sources are also confirming that Liam Hemsworth, who is currently filming The Hunger Games in North Carolina, has signed on for a lead role in the movie, along with Austin Stowell (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four), Aimee Teegarden (Scream 4), Chris Lowell (Up in the Air), and Max Adler (Glee).

Reportedly, Stowell stars as a young soldier in Vietnam who gets dumped by his girlfriend, played by Teegarden. Hemsworth plays his best friend who joins him in going AWOL. Together, they return to the U.S. to win her back.

AWOL is set for a 2012 release.

Australia’s finest export Teresa Palmer who was last seen in the Box Office smash hit ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ is reported to be returning home to work with first time director Kieran Darcy-Smith on ‘Say Nothing’.

The drama is about two couples who take an ill-fated trip to South East Asia, which sounds like a Slasher flick set up but it is a drama, and will be produced by Nash Edgerton and co star his brother Joel.

Teresa said “Joel Edgerton and I are attached to it. It’ll be exciting to work back in Sydney.”

While Nash is her offscreen boyfriend, he will also do stunt work on the film that has been written by Kieran Darcy-Smith and Felicity Price, Teresa continued “I love hanging out with him [Nash]. It’ll be nice.”

Blue Tongue films the company producing the film, want to get the film infront of the cameras in November, Palmer however will next grace the big screen in ‘Kids in America’ and the D.J. Caruso directed ‘I Am Number Four’, while she is also rumoured to be a contender for the new love interest for the ‘Spider-man’ reboot.
